We’re delighted to announce our new commission OFF THE RECORD, which will premiere at Carriageworks August 2016.
Whilst we like being heard, there may be consequences to over-sharing. So, over time we learn to keep our inner voice quiet; to abide by ‘acceptable’ behaviours. But away from society’s judging eyes, would you behave differently?
Co-produced by Force Majeure and Carriageworks in partnership with Dance Integrated Australia, OFF THE RECORD is a light-hearted exploration of the rituals that govern the way we live; weighing up the consequences of playing it safe and toeing the line, versus breaking the rules.
This Australian premiere brings together a diverse group of artists to consider life ‘off-the-record’.
